I graduated in 2015 from Ulster University Jordanstown, achieving a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. From there, I honed my skills in the NHS working primarily in the Belfast Trust rotating as a band 5. In this role, I gained experience with many different patients, from people suffering from strokes and other neurological disorders, respiratory physiotherapy and developed my true passion of musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy. This interest in MSK was only heightened thanks to a great MSK training program provided by the top staff in Musgrave Hospital.
I then moved into private practice, working in a very busy clinic in Lurgan which gave me great experience of how the private sector works. I gained the drive and ambition to develop my own business through my passion for physiotherapy and that’s when I decided to try my luck at my own clinic, starting firstly from my house. |
I had great success initially and started to grow but eventually I had to leave the comfort of working from home behind and find a new location where I could grow and develop, and this is where I am at now in Hamiltonsbawn, continuing to learn as a physio both in treatment methodologies and business acumen.
I hope this gives you an idea of the type of physio you will be attending, someone who is ambitious to fix customers pain in order to develop his business’ reputation and someone who is continuing to learn and put effort into developing and using the best methods possible so patients will get the most out of their physio experience here.
